Department of Samhita Siddhanta (Basic Principles)
Samhita Siddhanta Department is one of the main pillars of Ayurveda education. This department is primarily involved in imparting the knowledge of the main classical texts of Ayurveda such as Charaka Samhita, AshtangHridya etc. Alongwiththis teachings of siddhantas, diagnostic principles and treatment modalities are done.

Mission:
To make students vigilant about the basic principles and essence of Ayurveda as a science or pathy.
To explore the scriptures of Ayurveda, so that students shall be benefited with the therapeutic as well as spiritual knowledge contained within the scriptures.
To expert the distinct concepts mentioned in various commentaries.
To make the scholars aware of the process of research by giving them a dissertation subject and providing guidance for the same.
